Czech it out!

Loads of beer in our schedule for the next days :-) We go to Prague and to the Oktoberfest.
I wonder if after spending one year in Norway (read: no heavy drinking parties for last year) I will be able to drink ein Mass before it gets warm...

Sunshine again :-)

Another lovely day at the seaside :-)
TBBE was jumping on slippery rocks, climbing even more slippery rocks and doing many weird things to find and reach the best place for fishing. Result = 4 lures lost, 6 fishes caught.
I immediately found a very comfortable position to lay on the shore and enjoy this lazy afternoon...

Vikings were also there....
...followed by a military boat...
Fortunately Autumn has more colours than grey !!!

inspirations...

A., has his birthday today: Happy Birthday again!!!!

Being inspired by a couple of very ... well.... "extraordinary" gift ideas like:

or

we came up with this brilliant idea of a bicycle helmet tailored to A.'s needs.

What are A.'s needs?
A. likes to have his hair standing up on the top of his head,
more or less like that:

After a couple of hours spent on drawing, computing aerodynamic profiles and designing the cool look, we were very proud of the result: a helmet with a hole placed and sized so that it keeps A.'s hair in untouched shape when he is biking :-)

BTW, I had a unique opportunity to be a model!!! :-) TBBE's hair is simply too short...

I guess A. liked our idea... deep inside :-) Otherwise he would call me names worse than:  witch :-)

TBBE's birthday is comming next!!!

Autumn is here

After a couple of veeeeery grey, dark and wet days (for me also full of programming):
it finally stopped raining today!!! :-)

Even if the weather forecast was not too optimistic, we drove to Øygarden (archipelago West from Bergen) to have a walk and to fish a bit :-)

I must say I really enjoy the Norwegian nature, especially when it is not raining.. :-)

drinking wine on Champs the Mars :-)

Drinking wine on Champs the Mars full of noisy and drunk people was one of my favourites in Paris...
and seeing our favourite Italian with an artist soul was as great as always!!!! (Bacioni Lo!!!!)
Apparently they love the Lord of the Rings in Paris! Right in front of the Notre Dame cathedral you can find a statue of the King of the Dead (Dead Men of Dunharrow) :-)
Fresh baguette with cheese, tomatoes and olives ... this is what Tiggers like best!!!
One of the things you will never find in Bergen: a market full of good and beautiful fresh food!!!
I guess we enjoyed the trip a lot, maybe except of the visit to the Eiffel tour - 2 hours of constant queueing to spend a couple of minutes on the top.... and at the entrance they say: average waiting time = 30 minutes....

a colourful weekend :-)

A couple of photos from the weekend with Karine and Wim. BTW, if you hear stories about Wim almost catching this 1 meter long fish... believe it or not... :-)
The fact is that he lost 2 lures in about 30 minutes of fishing :-)
