Snow.... big snow...

Some days ago, probably last Friday, the snow in Bergen beat its own record in length of staying: more than 62 days.... It was 1986 when it lasted so long last time...

Maybe that it why expression 'de-snowing of sidewalks' has its own, very special meaning here. Or maybe I should say: has absolutly no meaning here :-)

Valentine flowers!!!

TBBE, as you probably don't know, is very romantic. He shows it extremely rare, but once it happens... :-)

So yesterday, being again back home, I found these beautiful flowers on the table....

I think that they maybe considered as flowers of the year!!! I mean, it is almost a year since I got any other flowers ;-p

Anyway, I was all happy about the tulips, smiling and thankful and than TBBE said: "Well, actually, who told you that they are for you?" Romantic...

In order to stay close to the agricultural issues I came to the Eurocow 2010 workshop :) organized in Castelldelfels, 20 minutes from Barcelona, starting tomorrow.

The temperature is 'only' 20 degrees higher than in Bergen...

and it is so good to see some palms again instead of rocks, rocks and other rocks...

longing for Springtime

Apparently not only me is waiting for Spring....

Pictures taken on my way to work, on Monday morning, after new arrival of snow in Bergen.

There were tens of flowers everywhere and with each one the smile on my face was wider and wider :-)

Last days were veeery busy but

more or less 85% of TBBE's thesis is ready to be delivered to the professor !!!!!

TBBE travelled back home today and I hope that will see him in good mood on Saturday...

still 1,5 chapter to go but at least: there's a light at the end of the tunnel....
