very busy...

The last days were very fun and busy with Karine and Wim being here :-)
It was excellent to spend some time with them and I only hope that they have enjoyed it as much as I have!!!

The next days will be even more busy: a conference and later sightseeing Paris in full sunshine with TBBE and Lorenzo!!! :-)

field work... in a quarry

It looks like the real Summer arrived for a couple of days also here (temp. up to 26C!!!)

I spent the hottest days of this year in the car (driving to Nordfjorden) and in .... a quarry ...

The field trip was useful - watching another geologist at work running around with his hammer. It is incredible how much history there is behind different rocks/stones....

Spending more time on the seaside and in the 'nothing box' is veeery relaxing :-)

I've found it!

Because waiting for TBBE to let me use our fishing rod was completely hopeless, on Monday we bought a second fishing kit and spent the whole lovely day on the seaside :-)
Result:

• 6kg of fishes (mackerels and garfishes) ,
• strong arm pains,
• wet shoes (very slippery stones),
• and a great discovery: I have found my 'nothing box'!!!!

I really enjoy fishing!!!

Well, at least until the part when I catch a fish large enough to keep it and someone has to kill it...
