wedding of M&C

Long time no news... but I have some good excuses:-)
Let's start from beginning:

Just before the famous Eyjafjallajokull volcano started to spit with its ashes I was lucky enough to fly to Warszawa, from where on Friday morning we were supposed to fly to Budapest for the long planned and awaited wedding of our friends.
So we are there, 5:30 a.m., at the Warszawa airport looking a bit suspicious on all the people queuing in an incredibly long queue. On the flight status board our flight is still fine, together with other 3 destinations. We check-in, go to the gate, very excited about the fact that we are so lucky to fly.... and one hour later our flight is also cancelled. ..
And so we are there, 8:30a.m., at the Warszawa airport, smoking cigarette and discussing possibilities: wait until tomorrow? car? train? give up? How far is Budapest? How long driving takes? How long it takes with a train? How expensive it will be?
Most of the questions were answered by my Father and TBBE's Sister, who, fortunately, know how to use Google, via Michelin etc...
And so we are there, 10:00a.m., at the LOT airlines customer office, waiting in a queue...
And so we are there, 10:45a.m., at the central train station in Warszawa, waiting in the longest queue I have ever seen at the public transport stations...
And so we are there, 12:15p.m., at the central train station in Warszawa, trying to understand from the schedule on displays where possibly should we look for the train from our brand new train tickets...
And so we are there, 12:45p.m., sitting in the train (old, polish train), surrounded by boring businessmen, speaking very loud and mostly English, feeling tired but excited about the longest train trip in our life (9:45h)...
And so we are there, 23:45p.m., just arrived to the hotel, greeting the Bride and Groom, who has just discovered that his family will not be able to reach Budapest... We were also missing other friends, stopped by the volcano...

Anyway, the wedding was gorgeous, M&C looked spectacular and we had a lot of fun together, including great food, drinks and dances:
And even a skype video conference with C's family :-)

M&C - again, thanks for everything!!! And all the best!!!

The way back to Warszawa took 11:45h:

In Japan trains reach 300km/h...
